For the first class of Community Service, we had gathered at PPOC and had our first briefing there. We were broken down into 4 groups to handle our task of transforming one of the classroom into a brand new room as the main project of this module.

From here, I had chosen to be in group 2 which is in charge of furniture and furniture repair. This consisted of a group of 10 students.

After the briefing, we continued the day by surveying and looking at the chosen classroom to observe and evaluate the condition of the room and the existing layout, furniture, and overall environment of the room. This helps us prepare for the next steps to be taken to proceed with our assigned parts in the group.

We had also taken down measurements of the entire room, chairs, tables and cupboard, and evaluate the condition of the existing furniture. The majority of the furniture was damaged and not in a good condition.
Meeting the people of PPOC to further understand how they work and their abilities or limitations to get a better comprehension of how to design the space and layout for the new classroom.
The existing furniture that is worn out and broken that would be refurnished or replaced with new ones. More will be discussed in the next meeting.
