For today's meet up for Comunity Service, we had agreed to meet up roughly around 11am. Some of us came later at different timings. We inspected whether the furniture was well dried from the last week's painting and the condition of the paint job. Those that came earlier had left earlier while those that came later left late. I left PPOC at around 5pm for that day.

We had decided that some of the tables needed some touching up. While we waited for the paint to dry from the touch up, we assembled the other furnitures like the ikea shelves that we had bought and also the plastic chairs.

After that when it had dried, we had use adhesive to stick the laminated chipboard that we had gotten to refurnish the old tables that we had painted.

While some of them constructed the laminated boards to the new tables, some of us scraped the white board to clean off unwanted old stuff that was sticking to it and cleaned it down. I was assigned to paint the door of the classroom. The door had to be painted in two layers to ensure an even finish.

From this task today, I learnt that team work is very important in order to ensure a fast and efficient work done. Work had to be delegated to different parts to ensure smooth operation that did not waste any time.
