Project 2: Promotional Kiosk
For Project 2, we were required to design a promotional booth or kiosk and present it via a power point presentation as well as a model. The main brief of the assignment is to design a kiosk that is sustainable, compact, lightweight, multi functional and is a space saver.

The project is still done in the same group of four which are Agnes Yeo, Jonathan Lam and Sean Naik.

The task given includes designing products to be sold or given at the kiosk as well as the CIS and branding of the company. We had come up with Neurelief, a Cerebral Curative Retreat.

We had worked together in a group and discussed about our branding and the direction that we were heading, as well as chosen collectively as a group on the CIS.
​
Agnes and I was allocated the task of doing the model for the kiosk. We had chosen modeling board and balsa wood to create the structure of the model as well as the furniture in it. We tried our best to make it match as closely as possible to the 3D we had created. Yet, we did face some difficulty in assembling the model as the structure was skeletal and fragile to paint without breaking it.

Reflection :

I had learned through team work that we all need to work together in producing a good group work. We had to divide the group into 2 in able to carry out the task efficiently. Hence, I find that Agnes and I had worked well efficiently to finish up the model as well as painting it together. Besides, Jonathan and Sean had still involved us into the production of the other parts of the assignment by asking for our opinion and thoughts on the design of the kiosk as well as the composition of the board lay out and the presentation slides layout.
