STREET PHOTOGRAPHY

For this assignment, we had the opportunity of going to Little India in Klang for a photography field trip.

We were given a task at hand where Street Photography comes in. It was a challenge indeed and a vast difference from photographing people in campus.

These were some of my photos taken, in monochrome and manual mode.
Peeping through.

A women is seen at the cashier in an angle behind the glass display of goods, almost seemingly hiding from us.
Ornaments.

Details from the ornaments capture the eyes of a passerby, almost a masterpiece of art for the curious.
Focus.

In the midst of the bustle of Little India, stopping to look shows that this place is home to some. And home it is.
Daily Routine.

Observe and you will find people carrying on their day in ways that have stayed the same for decades.
Blossoming.

A little stretch filled with stalls selling garlands of flowers where the flowers are all in bloom.

Culture.

An old lady engrossed making garlands without a care by the five foot way as the world passes by.
Caught.

Another victim behind the glass; framed by his own goods to be sold in his shop.
Convincing.

A seller hard at work; trying to convince me to buy his sarees as soon as he noticed he was my focus. He caught me.
View.

Despite all the sparkly goods that were on display, he stole the show.
